What resolution do I need?

interrogacion

This is a very common question in the graphic design world. And it’s indeed one of the graphic design milestones. Because it’s very different to do a web page design, than a design for a brochure. It’s really up to our design’s resolution, the way it’s going to look after it is printed.

The used resolution on the screen is 72 dpi.
The printed designs resolution should be around 150 a 200 dpi.
If you want to design an advertising ad, your resolution should be 300 dpi, to avoid all the pixels in your design..

The resolution that I use in my designs are the ones above, according to my experience, they work really well. If someone uses a different resolution, you’re more than welcome to comment about it.l
