What is Design?

 What is Design? The fact that Delf, of Cuarto Derecha, answer this question called mi attention, because he mention the phrase of the English designer Terence Conran, who says:

I like to think that 98% of the design is common sense. And what it really make it interesting and become it a challenge is the 2% that remain, what we can call “the esthetic”.

I have been thinking about this phrase… In my personal opinion the 100% of it is a challenge.

And after reading this, I have seen an anonymous comment that wrote the Wikipedia’s definition

Graphic design is the process of communicating visually using typography and images to present information. Graphic design practice embraces a range of cognitive skills, aesthetics and crafts, including typography, visual arts and page layout. Like other forms of design, graphic design often refers to both the process (designing) by which the communication is created and the products (designs) which are generated
