Pantone

Pantone is a corporation created by Pantone Matching System (PMS), is a systems that allow the users to identify the colors that were used in an impression, by a code. In other words, it is a proprietary system of equalization of colors.

Pantone produces what we now as the “Pantone Guide”, that shows an example of the color, its name and hexadecimal code. But, why is everybody talking about them and using them?

There are many reasons, the one is because these guides allows you to print the exact yellow that McDonald’s use, or the exact red that Coca Cola has, no matter the brand of your monitor, the software that you use or the operation system that you have in your computer.
