negocios Speak the language of your clientsI think this post works for everyone in any type of business, Not only graphic design. It’s really important for you to be able to communicate with your client, not only verbally but in a way that your client what you mean and the idea behind your words. There are many times, when a professional, due to his/her knowledge, starts talking to the client too technically. Thinking that the client really speaks the “slang”, and this is very wrong. Because they feel threatened, or they might even think that we’re not interested in their project.

This doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to speak with your client in a technical way, the client might think then you know nothing of the craft, if you’re going to use technical language, make sure you explain yourself accordingly. In my case, I tend to give examples to my clients, in order for them to understand what i’m really talking about. You need to show your client your knowledge over their necessities and how you plan to give them a practical solution to them.
