How many drafts do you sent to your clients?

bocetos1.jpgPersonally speaking, I don’t send more then three. Why? I don’t want to confuse my clients with too many things. I have faith that my designs will be good enough. Normally I let them know why I used certain elements in my designs and their benefits this will bring to their company, etc.

Collis, from FreelanceSwitch.com, tell us that he sends out more than 5 drafts to his clients.

Use only one draft:

We tell our customers that we’re their right choice and we don’t confuse them.

Using 2-3 drafts:

The client will need to chose the best one that will adjust to his needs. And in some cases we might one a merge from them into a single design.

Using 4-5 drafts:

The client will have a lot of benefits from what he’s paying for.
