Hierarchy of Needs

Is really important to incorporate the hierarchy of needs whenever you are going o start to create a new design. This will help you keep focused on what matters.

As we can see in the picture the most important aspect is the Functionality, the design (might be a graphic or a web design) must fullfill its intention
It is follows by the Reliability, which has to do with the stability and the performance. I think that is specially applied in Web Design
Third, the Usability. Remember that everybody must be able to use your design. Do not complicate things. Less is more.
In he fourth place we will find the Proficiency. It is very important that everybody sell that you have a lot of ability whenever you are designing; also, that you are an expert who knows what is doing.
And finally, the Creativity. In this level all the other points have to be fulfilled. And the people will start to interact with your design.
