No doubt brushes are one of the most important tools on Photohop. With them we can create a lot of designs and projects of any kind, but it’s not just on click to use them. Photoshop’s brushes count with many variants and effects we can set to get different results, and when you’re a beginner, it’s hard to know them all.

In Smashing Magazine published and excellent guide to lear to use brushes on Photoshop almost completely. It ranges from the first steps and details to more advanced changes that can be done from the panel of this tool.

In this Christmas period, to begin a new year, we must be prepared so that our customers ask us for Christmas designs.

One of the best resources for these dates, are the vectors, because they are far on the Internet if we look, and thanks to its format because we can work comfortably without fear of losing resolution or quality, which is extremely important not to waste our time.

In Dragonartz you can find a group of designs that illustrate Christmas bells in different colors in EPS / SVG and PNG 400 dpi (5556 × 5556). You can download both formats from Uploading or DeposiFiles.

Flowers are always very helpful to design. We can include them in web sites, personal cards or events invitations. We can use it to fill the design or more fine locating a few in the corners. Depending on what the client request us.

In Snap2Objects published an excellent pack of flower vectors that will be useful in an infinite designs. Six flower designs in a 558kb file under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0.

One of the funniest parts of work with Photoshop is to create photo manipulations. Generally one refers with that to create a design that isn’t real using filters and tools to make it look credible. Summary: We can let our imagination fly to create anything she want. For this we need to practice and for practice we need to find good tutorials.

One excellent is that one that published in PsdTuts+ where explain step by step and with pictures how to create a great horror photo manipulation. To starts tell us that the tutorial was made with the CS version of the program, take approximately 4 hours and it’s oriented to advanced users. The gunge style is becoming stronger every day. In general terms for all we can understand it, the style stand out for charged backgrounds or with images, texts and pictures broken or torn, stains and a very careless aspect. This isn’t easy, ’cause the fast way ends in an assorted aesthetic and this isn’t nice. But everything is possible with practice and good resources.

If is there anything useful in the design world, they’re backgrounds. About that is good to have big sizes, excellent quality and, of course, style.

The backgrounds that offers in DragonArtz have this, and also we found it in vector format, something that brings us freedom to work with it changing the size without problems or fear to lose definition. The backgrounds are flower-style, those which look great in web backgrounds or starring a header.

They’re in Eps/Svg format and Png of 500dpi. We could download separately the vector from the png for our needs.
