In one of our recent articles, I showed a collection with textures of wood, in addition to explain again the importance for a designer to have good quantity of such resources.

Wired tell us that Royal Pingdom published an interesting collection of brands with logos recreated with Lego blocks. Who did not play as a child (or not so child) with them? These people choose to do so, creating pieces that mimic all known logos.

The collection includes the logo of Google, Flickr, Digg, Apple, IBM and even the distinctive penguin that is related to Linux. Really amazing what you can accomplish with patience, practice and creativity.

DarkEye is a gallery with some Web sites that make it different from the others. For starters, unlike most of these sites that send the web address and wait for it to be accepted, this membership is automatic. One adds laUrl, wait about 20 seconds (including meter) and you’ll see it in “Design Today” (designs of today). Just have to add the site address, name, name of the designer if you want and go.

On the other hand for those who come just to go for inspiration and designs, we have the ability to search by color. Planning a site in green? Which is easier to find inspiration just visiting sites in this color.

Finally we have a section of “Top 100″ with the hundred most attractive designs and the ability to create (by subscription) our own site selection, to create a personal gallery with our favorite examples and be able to vote for them.

GuideBookGallery invites us to learn a little more about the history of Photoshop, the program for excellence when it comes to editing images and creating designs, especially photo-montages. Many knew him since the CS versions, but the Photoshop first came out in 1990, just as an application for Mac, and being very, very different from what we see today.

On the site we’ll see a gallery with pictures of all versions, from Windows 3.1 running in a few. When we talk about logos, provided some highlights on all others. In the case of soda, then surely all remember the logo of Coca-Cola or Pepsi, or Sprite, and yet we imagine that the slightly less well known brand sold in the market. The same goes for all areas and business areas. There are brands that reached a certain level that makes the consumer is recognized almost sideways, and others for the time being at least go unnoticed.

In Psdfan published an interesting list of 30 excellent car logos are used to know who could get to this level of recognition, the forms used and the aesthetics that have to clear over the years adapted to the trends that were emerging. Years ago, back in the’90s, we had a site we felt the best in world, and let’s face it, aesthetically today, we hate those sites. Far from the clean style that is used at present, is used to cram the screen space in advertisements, animated gifs, blinking text and other aggregates that are now (thankfully) discarded. But it’s part of history, so many started and it’s great to remember it.

For this TheVintageWeb can visit a site that is dedicated to collect screenshots of websites vintage, usually developed in the 90s. It is a good opportunity to recall what was fashionable years ago, within clear limits of at that time provided to us online.

If you have created a design for a Web, you will know the importance to sketch our ideas in a paper. The ideas flow easier, and it will be easier to create your design in Adobe Photoshop and code it later on in Adobe Dreamweaver (or your favorite software).

For all the designers and developer, I found in Toxel an exclusive notebook for this. Their leaves are informed so that we pruned to see our design in a real frame but. The notebook brings 60 pages: 45 with the window of the navigator, and 15 with varied formats of announcements.

The people of Art Snob Studios, inspired by their passion for the design and Photoshop, this software that so many good times makes us happen, they decided to create like a real version of this Adobe software.

They were joining diffetent elements, and with a lor of work, little by little were joining what it seens above it is seen clearly like the working area, the tool bar (with each icon), the menu, the trowel of colors and navigation, the layers and the window of typography. Impressive, ah?
