Personally speaking, I don’t send more then three. Why? I don’t want to confuse my clients with too many things. I have faith that my designs will be good enough. Normally I let them know why I used certain elements in my designs and their benefits this will bring to their company, etc.

I don’t quite understand why some creatives in publicity agencies think that in the “avant-garde” internet, everything has to be complicated.
If you talk to them about your site, they’ll ask you for sure for a more “creative” interface, when in the real life, as many of you already know, if you have a too “flash-y” website google won’t index you.
