25 bad habits from designers
Here’s a very interesting list of things we do as designers, there are some things here we all could improve:
- Taking constructive critisism personally
- We don’t know Paula Scher, Milton Glaser, Paul Rand & friends.
- Not been updated in the world of design
- Not having any manual
- Not charging enough for our projects
- Not using contracts
- Too many freebies
- Not asking for half of the payment before starting to do a design
- Low quality fonts in our designs
- Using Comic Sans
- Too many fonts for the same design
- We forget that blank spaces are friends of ours
- Not doing enough drafts
- Not using the ruler
- Relaying too much on technology
- Using low quality images
- Not designing the logo in vectors
- Not learning the keyboard shortcuts
- Not having enough backups
- Not having +8 hours of sleep at night.
