Everybodygoto.com is telling us 7 things we use to see in the Web 1.0 sites, things that are not longer available in Web 2.0. Those good old times when IE had the Navigator monopoly.

“It looks better with”:
Popular phrase that told us that the web site was better with IE or with Netscape.

Flash download:
This is now very rare, mostly because 98% of the Internet users have already Flash installed in their computers.

Tables:
With the arrival of CSS the web sites are “cleaner”. Less tables are now used, it’s barely used.

Once we had the right resolution for our Navigators, then we had to click on a second link to view the page.

Loading, please wait…:
Once the design was created in flash, the users had to wait long minutes before been able to watch it. The whole 56k agony.

Counters:
I really don’t know why, but many people wanted to show off their number of visits.
