People TheDesignCubicle explains the 11 steps to a process of designing an effective logo.

1 – Define the problem and understand your goal.

Clearly understand the problems and views of the customer is a good starting point. Ask things like “How does your company compete?” Will help us find the right path.

2 – Research.

After talking with the customer, is our time to investigate the company and its competitors.

3 – Inspiration.

See books, online galleries, find the inspiration (and I do not mean to copy anything) to commence work.

4 – Design.

Believe it or not, all we design logos we start in a role shaping our ideas until we hit some stop line. Draw absolutely everything that comes to your head and you surprised by the results.

5 – Moving to digital.

Comes from paper to PC. The ideal is to use Illustrator vector format and to work quietly without problems resolution. Remember that a good logo should look good with both colors like black and white.

5, 7 and 9 – Response by the client.

Keep in touch and let say at certain times, this will give them confidence and the same designer.

6 – More than digital.

Once you get the response from the customer touches the items you want.

8 – Color and typography.

Play with the colors and fonts to find the right one. Usually present three options for the customer logo, changing the two.

10 – Final Review.

Once is usually put the finishing touches. For example, the client may want a logo with the font from another.

11 – Send files.

Reaches the end time, which send the logo files in various formats.
